Becoming Like Jesus
Join us at The Gathering as we study 'Becoming Like Jesus'.

The Christian life is not up and to the right but a lifelong series of highs and lows that the Holy Spirit uses to shape us into people who look like Jesus. In this six-session series, pastor and author Matt Chandler guides us through Jesus’s beatitudes found in Matthew 5. As we live out our Christian faith, Jesus develops in us a new way of living so we can be people who reflect God's kingdom.

This study is led by Nan Horne.

Everyday Theology - What You Believe Matters
Join us at The Gathering as we study 'Everyday Theology - what you believe matters.'

Theology is the study of God, what He has done, is doing, and will do in the world. And it’s not just for those with formal education or those who work at your church. It’s for you in your everyday moments, questions, and decisions. It’s for the big and little, the exciting and mundane. Our theology is the basis of our faith and touches every part of our existence.

In this 8-session study, explore the essential doctrines of Scripture, God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, humanity, salvation, the church, and the end times to know God more deeply through these foundational truths.

This study is led by Crystal Keith.

The Well Watered Woman
Join us at The Gathering as we study 'The Well Watered Woman.'

In the busy chaos of our everyday, it can be difficult to live out and apply the truths of Scripture. We want more of Jesus, but we find ourselves looking to our own lives and accomplishments for our worth and identity. And while that may buoy us for a time, we're often left feeling dried up, discouraged, and longing for more.

Gretchen Saffles knows what it's like to feel overwhelmed and unable to flourish. In The Well-Watered Woman, Gretchen leads us to:

The Well of fullness - where the gospel is planted in our lives and our roots take hold in the truth.
The Word of freedom - our journey of growing, changing, and being transformed into Jesus' likeness.
The Way of fruitfulness - how obedience and love keeps us flourishing in Christ.

Who He Says I Am: A Study of Our Identity in Christ
Join us at The Gathering as we study 'Who He says I am.'

It is crucial to know who we are. The world loves to label us – by our gender, by our ethnicity, by our job – but as Christians our identity is not in those labels. We are ‘in Christ’. We are united to him by faith. This devotional digs into what that means, how it impacts our lives, and why it matters most who God says we are.

In this book study, together we will engage in each chapter that looks at one facet of our identity in Christ and includes:

Bible reading
Memory verse
Digging Deeper section
Questions for self–reflection or group discussion
Space for personal journaling and self–reflection

This group is led by Donna Richardson and Jayne Dobbins-Hale.
