In a world obsessed with proving ourselves and chasing success, James reminds us that not all wisdom leads to life. Worldly wisdom is fueled by envy and selfish ambition and ultimately breeds disorder, but wisdom from above is born out of God-centered humility and results in peace and righteousness. True wisdom isn’t found in striving or comparison, but in slowing down to be in God’s presence—listening, yielding, and living out heaven’s wisdom here on earth.
