Giving

God is generous and so he calls us to be as well.  What we do with what God has given us shows the world where our hearts are at and helps proclaim the gospel. We want to glorify God with every area of our lives, and that includes what we do with our finances.

Big Month of Generosity

Throughout the month of May - we invite you to take part in our Big Month of Generosity.
The Big Month of Generosity is an opportunity to intentionally reflect on and practice the way of generosity that Jesus models. It’s an annual opportunity to see if we are truly putting Jesus first in our finances.  By participating in the Big Month of Generosity this May,  your generous gifts will go to support two projects.

30% of funds received will go to support the work of our family of churches in reaching least reached people groups around the world. Your offerings will be used to support church planting in Southeast Asia, helping equip men and women from least reached people groups to plant churches amongst their own people. Funds will be used to demonstrate the Good News of Jesus through the actions of Christian International Workers who are helping victims of human trafficking in the South Pacific.

The other 70 % of funds received will be used to move closer to completing Phase 2 of our building project. Beyond Fresh Ground and the washrooms lie two huge open spaces waiting to be developed. The vision for these two spaces is to make one into a gym and the other into a space for youth and young adults. Unfortunately, the rising costs of everything prevent us from moving forward with all of Phase 2 at this time, so we’ve created a plan to step us into Phase 2 and meet the ministry needs of the church today.

We invite you to prayerfully consider what you are able to donate during this year’s Big Month of Generosity.
