A group for mothers of school-age kids
As our children enter school, our influence continues and changes. As moms, we learn to accept that others are participating in helping our children to grow. Moms of school age kids face new challenges in mothering. We spend these years balancing new issues: teaching values, independence, initiative and relationship skills; promoting study, and self-discipline habits; and watching peer influences.
So many of our questions mask one big underlying question many moms have…”Am I getting this right?” At MOMSnext, you will find a place to be yourself. Moms, like children and families, are not perfect. As moms, we can spend too much time wrapped up on stress, worry and guilt. But together, we can lift each other up in friendship and faith.
All mothers, of at least one school age child (beginning in Kindergarten), are welcome to be a part of MOMSnext even if they have never attended MOPS. Childcare will be provided through our MOPPETS program.
Stay tuned for start up date in Fall 2017...
